Thiruvananthapuram: (August 26) A 48-year-old woman Panchayat member was found dead in the Aryanad area of the district.
Sreeja S., a Kottakkakam ward member of the Ariyinad Grama Panchayat and a local Congress worker, was found dead in a shed attached to her house.
Police suspect the cause of death was the consumption of an acid-like substance.
