Saudi Arabian air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed 16 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and one ballistic missile over the Eastern Region early Wednesday. Confirming the operation, Defense Ministry spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al Maliki stated that the aerial threats were neutralized before reaching their targets.
According to official data, these latest interceptions bring the total number of drones downed since the start of recent regional hostilities to 723. Additionally, the Kingdom has intercepted a total of 58 missiles to date, which includes 51 ballistic missiles and seven cruise missiles. (Gulf News)
