30th International Film Festival of Kerala Inaugurated by Minister Saji Cherian.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: (Dec 12) The 30th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2025) was inaugurated on Friday by State Culture Minister Saji Cherian. The ceremony, held in Thiruvananthapuram, witnessed the presence of dignitaries from the global film fraternity.

The formal inauguration was marked by the ceremonial lighting of 30 lamps by the esteemed guests, who included Palestine Ambassador to India Abdulla M Abu Shawez, German Ambassador Philipp Ackermann, Chilean director Pablo Larrain, Spanish actor Angela Molina, and Canadian director Kelly Fyffe-Marshall.

In his address, Minister Saji Cherian stated that the IFFK holds the distinction of being the only regional festival in India to have successfully completed 30 meaningful years with the dedicated participation of people committed to cinema. (PTI)
