Malayali Nurse Passes Away in Saudi Arabia After Eight Years of Service in the Same Hospital.

GISAN: A 34-year-old Malayali nurse, Sherly David Jacob, passed away while undergoing treatment at the Saudi Armed Forces Hospital in Gisan, where she had been serving for the past eight years. A native of Nellikamon in Ranni, Pathanamthitta, Sherly was admitted to the intensive care unit on the 5th of this month due to a severe respiratory illness. Her condition worsened following a cardiac arrest during the course of treatment, leading to her demise yesterday evening.

Sherly was the daughter of David Jacob and Santhamma and had been a dedicated staff nurse at the Gisan Abu Arish Defense Hospital. Her sister, Shiny David, who is also a nurse in Abha, was present with her during her final days. Sherly is survived by her husband, Jobin, who is currently in Kerala. Arrangements are being made to transport her mortal remains from the hospital mortuary to her hometown for the final rites, according to family sources. (Pravasi news)
