THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Popular actor Anoop Menon is all set to play an investigative officer in the upcoming movie ‘Ee Thaniniram’, which is scheduled for release on January 16. Directed by Ratheesh Nedumangad and produced by S. Mohanan under the banner of Dhanush Films, the movie is a complete investigative thriller.
This project marks the third production of Dhanush Films after ‘Maharaja Talkies’ and ‘Adv. Lakshmanan Ladies Only’. Director Ratheesh Nedumangad, who previously worked with veteran filmmakers like K. Madhu and Harikumar, has earlier directed movies like ‘Good Bad Ugly’ and ‘Dial 100’. In this film, Anoop Menon portrays the character of SI Felix Lopez, who leads a complex criminal investigation.
The makers promise a gripping plot filled with mysteries and unexpected twists at every stage of the probe. The film features an ensemble cast including Ramesh Pisharody, Noby, G. Suresh Kumar, Deepak Sivarajan, and Shailaja Ambu, among others. The screenplay is penned by Ambika Kannan Bhai, while Pradeep Nair has handled the cinematography.
