Antony Varghese’s Magnum Opus ‘Kattalan’ Wraps Up; Set for Global Release in May.

KOCHI: The filming of the highly anticipated big-budget movie ‘Kattalan’, starring Antony Varghese (Pepe) and directed by Paul George, has been successfully completed. After a marathon 140-day shoot across various locations including Thailand, Idukki, Pune, and Mumbai, the production officially wrapped up in Chennai.

The movie, which revolves around a young man’s daring struggle against the wild and its animals, is touted to feature some of the most intense action and violence sequences in recent Malayalam cinema. Produced by Shareef Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainment, ‘Kattalan’ is currently one of the most expensive films in production. The project brings together global talent, featuring world-renowned action choreographer Kemba Kochadai and the acclaimed music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

‘Kattalan’ is a pan-Indian project slated for release in five languages. The star-studded cast includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Thushara Vijayan, Jagadish, Siddique, and Anson Paul, alongside popular social media personalities like Hipster and Callmevenom.
