BJP Leader Demands Apology from Kerala CM

KOCHI: Senior BJP leader V. Muraleedharan stated on Saturday that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his government must apologize to Ayyappa devotees before organizing the Global Ayyappa Sangamam.

He also criticized the Travancore Devaswom Board’s (TDB) decision to invite DMK ministers to the event, calling them “opponents of Sanatana Dharma.”

“The state government and the Chief Minister should first apologize for their earlier stand to alter traditions at Sabarimala. They should also apologize for calling some devotees ‘fake’ after they had to return without completing their pilgrimage,” he told reporters.
