CM Pinarayi to Attend Santhigiri Ashram’s Navapoojitham Celebration

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be the special guest at the Navapoojitham celebration at Santhigiri Ashram in Pothencode on Thursday at 5 pm.
The event, which marks the birth anniversary of the ashram’s founder, Navajyothi Sri Karunakara Guru, will be led by Swami Chaitanya Jnana Thapaswi.

During the event, Minister Kadanapally Ramachandran will release the “Navapoojitham Souvenir,” which will be received by Koliyakode N. Krishnan Nair. The main speech will be given by KPCC president Sunny Joseph MLA.
On Navapoojitham Day, August 29, the celebrations will start at 5 am with a special floral offering. The flag will be raised at 6 am, and more floral offerings will take place starting at 7 am.

Ministers G.R. Anil and K.N. Balagopal, as well as BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, will also speak at different times throughout the day.
A two-day national seminar on “Guru Parampara and the Indian Knowledge Tradition” will also begin on Thursday. It will be opened by Swami Paramatmananda Saraswati from Arsha Vidya Mandir Rajkot.

The celebration is a joint effort by the Central Sanskrit University, Indic Dharma Academy, Santhigiri Research Foundation, and the Department of Arts and Culture.
