Six of the accused—Mizanur Rahman, Mohammad Shabat, Umar, Mohammad Litan, Mohammad Shahid, and Mohammed Ujjal—were apprehended from garment manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruppur district, while two others were taken into custody from West Bengal. Investigators revealed that the module was being directed by a Kashmiri handler based in Bangladesh, who had reportedly received training in Pakistan.
Police recovered mobile phone footage showing the suspects conducting reconnaissance of several cities, including Delhi.
