Eight Injured in Qatar Following Iranian Missile Strikes; Restrictions Enforced.

At least eight people were injured, including one critically, by fragments from Iran’s missile attacks on Doha, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior spokesperson Abdullah Khalifa Al-Muftah confirmed. During a joint press conference, officials from the Ministries of Interior, Defense, and Foreign Affairs stated that authorities responded to 114 reports of falling debris nationwide.

The Ministry of Defense reported detecting 65 ballistic missiles and 12 drones originating from Iran, with 63 missiles and 11 drones successfully intercepted. While two missiles reached the Al-Udeid Air Base and one drone targeted a radar installation, no human casualties were reported at those specific sites. Qatar has formally condemned the attack as a flagrant violation of national sovereignty.In response to the current situation, all government entities and private sector companies have been advised to implement remote work on Sunday, March 1.

Schools, universities, and nurseries have also transitioned to distance learning effective Sunday until further notice. Qatar Airways has temporarily suspended all operations to and from Doha following the closure of Qatari airspace.
