According to the police’s First Information Report (FIR), the attack was a planned attempt. The accused blocked the vehicle in which Scaria was traveling, manhandled him, and tried to strangle him. The FIR states that if the attempt had not been thwarted, it could have resulted in his death. Scaria sustained minor injuries and was taken to a private hospital for treatment. The attackers are currently absconding, and the police have launched a manhunt to find them.
