The Minister stated that the government’s main goal is to bring the extremely poor into the mainstream of society.
He mentioned that the government has systematically worked to identify those in need of land, housing, food, and continuous medical treatment, and to provide them with the necessary assistance. The Minister expressed confidence that Kerala would achieve this goal by November 1.
The Valiyapally Bridge was built at a cost of ₹3 crore (30 million rupees) to link the Seaview and Power House wards. The bridge is 15.65 meters long, with a carriage width of 7.5 meters, and includes footpaths on both sides. It was designed to ensure that it does not hinder water transport.
