The event, scheduled for around 9:30 am, will mark the beginning of a nationwide celebration—running from November 7, 2025, to November 7, 2026—to honour the 150th anniversary of the timeless composition.
“Vande Mataram” is recognized for its profound role in inspiring India’s freedom movement and continues to evoke national pride and unity across the country.
During the ceremony, PM Modi will also release a commemorative stamp and coin to mark the significant milestone, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
