Government Bans Substandard Drugs in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: The State Drugs Control Department has announced a ban on the sale and distribution of several batches of drugs that were found to be substandard during quality checks in May.
The State Drugs Controller has directed all traders and hospitals to return their stock of these drugs to the suppliers and to report the details to their respective District Drugs Control authorities.
The list of banned drugs (in the order of name, manufacturer, batch number, and expiry) is as follows:
