Karnataka Police File Case Against YouTuber Manaf for Hurting Religious Sentiments

KOZHIKODE: Karnataka police have started an investigation and filed a case against Manaf, a YouTuber and lorry owner from Kerala, for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The Udupi Town Police have charged him under Section 295A of the BNS for what they say is a campaign against Hindu temples.

The case was filed after Manaf published videos on his YouTube channel that supported discredited claims by a former worker about a mass grave in the temple town of Dharmasthala. On Saturday, Manaf spoke to the media, denying any bad intentions and promising to cooperate fully with the police investigation.
