KSRTC Achieves Historic Revenue: ₹10.19 Crore in a Single Day

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has achieved its highest-ever single-day ticket revenue, earning a record ₹10.19 crore on September 8, 2025.

This new record surpasses the previous one of ₹9.22 crore, which was earned during the Sabarimala season on December 23, 2024. The highest-ever Onam season revenue was ₹8.29 crore on September 14, 2024.

The record was achieved by operating 4,607 buses, an increase from the 4,567 buses that were operated on the previous record day.

KSRTC’s management stated that this achievement was made possible by the coordinated efforts of the employees, supervisors, and officers. The timely reforms introduced by the Minister of Transport and the continuous work by the KSRTC management were also crucial to this success. The addition of new buses and improved services have been well-received by passengers.

The Chairman and Managing Director thanked all the employees for their dedicated work, the passengers for their trust in KSRTC, and everyone who supported them in achieving this proud milestone.
