KSRTC Driver Dies of Heart Attack While Driving Near Mavelikara.

MAVELIKARA: A KSRTC driver passed away after suffering a fatal heart attack while driving near Nadakkavu in Mavelikara on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Pradeep, a native of Chennithala.

The incident occurred around 9:00 AM while the bus was en route from Pathanamthitta to Mavelikara. According to reports, Pradeep experienced sudden chest pain and lost consciousness while the vehicle was in motion. The out-of-control bus subsequently veered off the road and crashed into a nearby shop, causing significant damage to the building.

Despite the impact, all passengers on board the bus escaped without injuries. Immediately following the crash, passengers and local residents rushed to the driver’s aid. Pradeep was quickly transported to a private hospital in Parumala; however, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The local community has expressed grief over the sudden passing of the driver, noting that a major tragedy was averted as the bus did not collide with other vehicles or pedestrians in the busy area. (NM)
