The deadline for filing nomination papers for the Kerala Assembly elections ends today. While most candidates have already submitted their papers, the remaining contenders will file them before their respective returning officers today. In Punalur, UDF candidate Noushad Yunus is set to file his nomination today following the resolution of internal disputes. In Karunagappally, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is expected to attend the nomination filing and subsequent roadshow of NDA candidate Jithin Dev.

Other prominent candidates filing today include R. Rashmi (NDA, Kottarakkara), Vishnu Mohan (UDF, Eravipuram), M. Noushad (LDF, Eravipuram), S. Jayamohan (LDF, Kollam), and Robin Radhakrishnan (NDA, Kundara). With all major fronts announcing their candidates, the electoral battle for all 140 constituencies is now clear.
