Kochi: Renowned Malayalam actor, screenwriter, and director Sreenivasan (69) passed away today at the Taluk Hospital in Tripunithura. He had been undergoing treatment for age-related health issues for a prolonged period.

A rare and versatile genius of Malayalam cinema, Sreenivasan remained a cornerstone of the industry for over four decades. Beyond his acting prowess, he was celebrated for his thought-provoking screenplays and masterful direction.
