During her address, the Minister noted that while Kerala women excel in education, their representation in the workforce remains disproportionately low. She emphasized that life events like marriage or childbirth should not hinder a woman’s career. The Minister also assured that the state government would provide hostel facilities in all districts for job-seeking women and strictly enforce the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act in all workplaces, including the film industry.
Renowned actress Manju Warrier, the campaign’s brand ambassador, highlighted the necessity of financial independence for women. She shared that she draws inspiration from ordinary women who break barriers, such as those working as JCB and truck drivers. The event, chaired by Women’s Commission Chairperson Adv. P.
