DOHA: Qatar’s Ministry of Labour has recommended remote working arrangements for all private-sector employees on Sunday, March 1, 2026, where the nature of the work permits. The following sectors are exempt to ensure the continued provision of essential services:
Establishments requiring physical presence due to operational needs.
Retail outlets, shops, and consumer cooperatives.
Service-oriented activities and restaurants.
