MUMBAI: The highly anticipated trailer of ‘The Kerala Story 2’ has been released, setting an unsettling tone with its narrative on forced conversions. Scheduled for a theatrical release on February 27, 2026, the film marks the silver screen debut of TV actor Aditi Bhatia.
The trailer expands the franchise’s scope beyond Kerala, highlighting incidents of alleged forced conversions in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah stated that the stories are rooted in six to seven months of extensive research, including a study of Indian court documents. Directed by National Award winner Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the movie also stars Ulka Gupta and Aishwarya Ojha in pivotal roles.
