U.S., Qatar and Gulf Nations Issue Joint Statement Condemning Iran’s ‘Reckless’ Attacks.

The United States, Qatar, and five other Arab and Gulf nations have issued a strongly worded joint statement condemning Iran’s ongoing missile and drone strikes across the region. Representing the governments of the U.S., Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, the signatories described the attacks as “indiscriminate and reckless,” emphasizing that these unjustified strikes violate national sovereignty and endanger civilian populations. The coalition reaffirmed its collective right to self-defense, stating they remain united in protecting their citizens and territory.

The joint position follows a massive wave of Iranian strikes on Sunday, which included the launch of over 65 missiles and 12 drones toward Qatar alone, most of which were successfully intercepted by coordinated air defense systems. While no fatalities were reported in Qatar, eight people were injured, and material damage was sustained. The seven nations commended the effective air defense cooperation that prevented greater loss of life and called for an immediate end to the dangerous escalation that threatens the stability of the entire Middle East.
