Dubai: On Sunday morning, over the Arabian Sea, the star Suhail, or Canopus, appeared in the southern sky as an ancient sign. It is the second brightest star in the sky.
Its much-anticipated arrival across Arabia has been recognized by generations in the desert as a sign that summer is coming to an end. (Gulf News)
