Seven Workers Killed in Massive Fire at Chemical Factory in Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi.

JAIPUR: At least seven workers were charred to death on Monday after a massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Bhiwadi industrial area of Rajasthan. Two other workers are feared trapped inside the facility as emergency teams work frantically to reach them.

The incident occurred in the Khushkhera-Karoli industrial hub. The fire was first noticed by a police patrol team, who immediately alerted the fire department and initiated a rescue mission. According to Additional District Magistrate Sumita Mishra, there were nine individuals inside the unit when the blaze erupted. “So far, seven bodies have been recovered from the site. Operations are ongoing to locate and rescue the remaining two workers,” she stated.

Preliminary reports suggest the fire spread rapidly due to the presence of highly flammable chemicals. Thick plumes of smoke have hampered visibility, making the rescue operation particularly difficult. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, while the identities of the deceased are being verified. (TNIE)
