In Kochi, the District Anti-Narco Special Action Force (DANSAF) apprehended a migrant laborer who was actively distributing ganja to local students. The accused, identified as Anwar Hussain, was caught in possession of three kilograms of ganja. A forensic analysis of his mobile phone revealed shocking details, proving that several school students, including those in the 10th grade, were his regular customers. Hussain has a criminal history and was previously arrested in similar narcotic cases.
Similarly, in Thiruvananthapuram, two drug traffickers were intercepted by the DANSAF team at Thampanoor near the railway station. Robin, a native of Pulluvila, and Aneesh, hailing from Netta in Tamil Nadu, were caught red-handed smuggling ganja via train. Among the accused, Robin is linked to multiple theft cases, while Aneesh is a history-sheeter wanted in a major drug trafficking case in Odisha. Investigations confirmed that the duo sourced the contraband from Odisha and transported it to Kerala via train for local distribution.
