Sreekariyam Minor Murder Was Pre-Planned; Minor Suspect Was Meant to Take the Blame, Says City Police Commissioner.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The murder of 17-year-old Abhiram at Pangappara was executed after days of detailed planning, Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner Arul B. Krishna revealed. He stated that the accused had a pre-arranged pact that, if caught by the police, the entire responsibility of the crime would be placed solely on a minor suspect. The police are currently investigating whether more individuals were involved in the conspiracy.

According to the preliminary findings of the police, a dispute stemming from a teenage romantic relationship led to the murder of Abhiram.

The Commissioner explained that the investigation uncovered a clear understanding among the accused to make it appear as though the crime was committed solely by a minor in the event of a police arrest. Investigators are also probing whether the suspects had been involved in similar violent assaults or attempted murders in the past.
