THRISSUR: In a deeply tragic incident, a 53-year-old passenger lost his life after developing acute chest pain while travelling inside a flight on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Jojo, a permanent resident of Kuzhikkattussery in the Thrissur district. He was on his way back home from Mumbai to Kochi when the medical emergency occurred.
Immediately after the flight touched down at the international airport, the on-site airport medical team rushed to attend to him and administered vital preliminary first-aid treatment. He was then urgently moved in an ambulance to a premium private hospital located in Angamaly for advanced cardiac care. However, despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, his life could not be saved and he was pronounced dead.
