THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On Saturday, Salman Nizar, a 28-year-old left-handed batsman from Kerala, played an incredible innings in a Kerala Cricket League T20 match.
He scored an unbeaten 86 runs from just 26 balls. During his time at the crease, he hit a total of 12 sixes, with 11 of them coming in just 13 balls. In one final over, he hit 40 runs.
Nizar’s team, Calicut Globstars, scored 186 runs for six wickets. They then bowled out the opposing team, Adani Trivandrum Royals, for 173 runs, winning the match by 13 runs. Nizar is now set to join the South Zone team for the Duleep Trophy semi-final.
