Special Judge Sonika Chaudhary of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Court (Sessions Court No 27) pronounced four death sentences against the convicts, identified as Amit and Nikhil, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POCSO Act.
The accused were also fined a total of ₹4.5 lakh, which will be given as compensation to the victim’s parents, according to Additional District Government Counsel (ADGC) Subhash Giri and Special Public Prosecutor (POCSO) Vijay Kishan Lavania.
