The invitation came after both Ouseppachan and Ali flagged off the BJP development rally led by Gopalakrishnan in Thrissur.
Gopalakrishnan praised Ouseppachan and Ali for their active involvement in the fields of art and public discourse.
“You are individuals with honesty and public consciousness. The BJP wishes for you, who are suitable to serve society, to contest in the Assembly elections. Our doors are open for those who wish to contribute constructively,” he said.
He added that capable and sincere individuals should enter politics, regardless of party affiliations.
“We need people who can truly work for Kerala’s progress. You can stand with the BJP to promote positive politics and contribute to the state’s development,” he added.
Ouseppachan said that people should come forward to serve the country irrespective of caste and religious differences.
“There might be differences even in our thoughts, but we must work together for our country. India is our mother, with a rich culture and is developing rapidly. Differences of opinion are natural, but every Indian has a responsibility to serve the nation,” he said.
He praised Gopalakrishnan for dedicating his life to public service as both a lawyer and a politician.
Following this, Ali stated that he participated in the event because it promotes constructive and positive development, and he lauded Gopalakrishnan’s political efforts.
