Katara Announces 7th Qatar International Arts Festival (QIAF 2025); Over 450 Artists from 70 Countries to Participate

Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara, in partnership with Maps International, officially announced the seventh edition of the Qatar International Arts Festival (QIAF 2025). The announcement was made at a press conference by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara, and Ms. Rashmi Agarwal, Founder of Maps International and Director of QIAF.

Dr. Al-Sulaiti stated that the festival has become a “pioneering platform” for diverse artistic visions, and the partnership reflects a commitment to strengthening Qatar’s position as a global center for culture. He revealed that this year’s festival theme is “Sustainability and Innovation in Art,” focusing on environmentally friendly practices and the role of modern technology in art.

Ms. Agarwal thanked Katara for its continuous support, noting that QIAF has grown into a prominent global platform that brings artists together in Qatar to celebrate creative diversity.

The six-day festival will run from December 7 to 12, 2025, and will feature the participation of more than 450 artists from 70 countries, turning Katara into a lively hub for visual and performing arts.
