The second phase of the ‘Varnolsavam 2025’ competitions, organized by the District Child Welfare Committee (Jilla Shishu Kshema Samithi) as part of the Children’s Day celebrations, was held in Alappuzha.
The events took place at the Alappuzha Gender Park and Jawahar Balabhavan.
Competitions Held:
The phase included various competitions across different categories:
Singing: Light music (Lalithaganam) and Patriotic songs (Deshabhakthiganam).
Art: Drawing (Chithrarachana) and Colouring (Niracharthu).
Nursery/Anganwadi Section: Storytelling (Malayalam & English) and Action Songs (Malayalam & English).
Literary Events: Essay writing (Malayalam & English) and Story writing (Malayalam & English).
Participation: Each school was allowed to field three participants per competition item.
The event was led by District Child Welfare Committee officials, including K. Nazar, K. D. Udayappan, K. P. Prathapan, C. Sreelekha, and T. A. Navas.
