‘Sharam nahi aati?’ Sunny Deol EXPLODES at Paparazzi Outside His House a Day After Dharmendra’s Discharge

Sunny Deol confronted photographers outside his Juhu residence, criticising the media for filming amid concerns about Dharmendra’s health. The actor called their actions insensitive, questioned their lack of empathy, and urged respect for family privacy during difficult moments in an emotionally charged exchange.

In a firm voice, he said, “You have a family, parents, and kids at home, and you are clicking videos. Aren’t you ashamed?” His words were directed at the media personnel stationed outside the building, many of whom continued filming despite the evident emotional strain on the family. After making his point clear, the actor walked away without further interaction.

The backlash comes at a time when misinformation regarding Dharmendra’s health has created widespread confusion. Earlier this week, a few mainstream media outlets falsely declared the veteran actor dead while he was still responding to treatment in the hospital. Because the misleading announcements came from well-known organisations, tributes poured in instantly from several public figures. Among those who mistakenly offered condolences was celebrated screenwriter Javed Akhtar, who had previously collaborated with Dharmendra on the iconic Sholay. A wave of political personalities and actors followed suit before the reports were clarified.

Dharmendra is Alive and Recovering
Once the family stated that the information was incorrect, multiple outlets quietly deleted their posts, leaving fans unsure of what to believe. The situation not only caused unnecessary panic but also raised serious concerns about the state of responsible journalism.

Reacting strongly to the false coverage, Hema Malini addressed the issue on Tuesday (November 11). She wrote, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy (sic).”

A similar message was shared by Dharmendra’s daughter, Esha Deol, who tried to put an end to the rumours. On Instagram, she posted, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papas speedy recovery. Esha Deol (sic).”

Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday (November 12) and is currently being treated at home. His family has urged the public and media to remain patient and respectful while he continues his recovery. (TV9)
