Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is facing controversy after allegedly pulling off a young woman’s hijab while handing over an appointment letter for an Ayush doctor post. A video of the incident was shared by the RJD and Congress parties on their X handles. After handing over the appointment letter, the Chief Minister gestured towards the woman’s headscarf, asked about it, suggested she remove it, and then tried to remove it himself. The opposition has strongly criticised Nitish Kumar.
