The Kerala High Court on Thursday issued a major ruling disqualifying General Secretary Vellappally Natesan and the entire Board of Directors of the SNDP Yogam.
The court found that the prominent Ezhava community organization had failed to comply with the essential statutory requirements mandated under the Companies Act. Justice T.R. Ravi passed this order while considering a series of petitions, including one filed by the late Professor M.K. Sanoo, which alleged significant irregularities in the functioning of the Yogam.
Along with Vellappally Natesan, his son Thushar Vellappally has also been removed from the Board as per the court’s decision. The ruling marks a significant shift in the administration of the influential socio-cultural organization in Kerala.
