KASARAGOD: Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan visited the famous Kollur Mookambika Temple to offer prayers. The Chief Minister was accorded a grand traditional welcome with ‘Poornakumbham’ by the members of the temple trust and senior priests. V.D. Satheesan took part in special poojas and rituals organized at the temple. The visit took place early in the morning at around 6:00 AM. This marks V.D. Satheesan’s first visit to Kollur after assuming office as the Chief Minister.
Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan paid a visit to the renowned Kollur Mookambika Temple. This is his maiden visit to the shrine ever since he took charge as the Chief Minister of the state. The Chief Minister’s temple visit took place on Saturday morning at around six o’clock.
Upon his arrival at the temple, the Chief Minister was traditionally received with ‘Poornakumbham’ by the temple trust officials and the chief priests. Subsequently, he offered prayers at the main sanctum sanctorum and participated in special poojas and offerings.

കേരള മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി.ഡി. സതീശൻ കൊല്ലൂർ മൂകാംബിക ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ദർശനം നടത്തി. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പദവിയിലെത്തിയ ശേഷമുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ കൊല്ലൂർ സന്ദർശനമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ ആറ് മണിയോടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്തിയ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ക്ഷേത്ര ട്രസ്റ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികളും മുഖ്യ അർച്ചകരും ചേർന്ന് പൂർണ്ണകുംഭം നൽകി സ്വീകരണം നൽകി. തുടർന്ന് പ്രധാന സന്നിധിയിൽ നടന്ന പ്രത്യേക പൂജകളിലും വഴിപാടുകളിലും അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കെടുത്തു.
