The filming of Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Athimanoharam’, directed by Tarun Moorthy and produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, has been completed. The 115-day shoot wrapped up late in the evening on September 3. The shoot, which began on January 23 in Thodupuzha, was carried out across seven schedules in multiple locations.
This marks the 20th project from Ashiq Usman Productions. Apart from Thodupuzha, filming took place in Kochi, Sabarimala, and Mumbai. Framed around a family background, the film is styled as a police procedural drama, with Meera Jasmine taking the female lead.
Alongside veteran actors such as Lalu Alex, Manoj K. Jayan, Mukesh, Jagadish, Irshad Ali, and Pramod Veliyanad, a fresh lineup of actors including Sajeevan, Srinath Babu, Kiran Peethambaran, Viji Vishwanath, Bhama Arun, and Prarthana are also part of the ensemble cast. The screenplay is written by Ratheesh Ravi, known for his work in ‘Ishq’ and ‘Alappuzha Gymkhana’.
The movie brings back the key technical team behind successful ventures. Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography by Shajikumar. Other key crew members include Shafeeque V.B.
