Director Roopesh Peethambaran has come forward with questions directed at director Geetu Mohandas. Roopesh raised these questions by sharing a controversial scene from the Mammootty starrer ‘Kasaba’. Asking “Does the Mammootty film Kasaba feel toxic to you now?”, he also wrote on Facebook that karma is real.
The post was shared by tagging actresses Parvathy Thiruvothu, Rima Kallingal, and WCC. Roopesh added that this generation has not watched Mammootty’s films from 1981 to 2016, and that the love for Mammookka will always remain.
Roopesh’s post comes in the backdrop of allegations raised against scenes in the Yash starrer ‘Toxic’, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Viewers who watched the film have alleged that several scenes are misogynistic.
