President Droupadi Murmu has arrived in Kerala to take part in various scheduled events. She landed at the Air Force Technical Area in Thiruvananthapuram, where she was welcomed by Governor Arif Mohammed Khan (Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is the Governor of Kerala), Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister of State George Kurian, Mayor Arya Rajendran, MLA Antony Raju, Chief Secretary Dr. A. Jayathilak, and other senior officials.
Following the reception, the President proceeded to the Raj Bhavan (Governor’s official residence).
On October 22 (the next day), she will travel by helicopter to Nilakkal and then continue to Sabarimala. The President will return to Thiruvananthapuram in the evening and stay at the Raj Bhavan.
