Iran Strikes US Embassy in Riyadh.

RIYADH: The Middle East crisis reached a new peak on Tuesday after Iran launched a strike targeting the United States Embassy in Riyadh. This comes as the Iranian Red Crescent confirmed that 555 people have been killed in Iran since the conflict began three days ago.

In a significant blow to the Iranian leadership, the wife of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei succumbed to injuries sustained during the initial US-Israeli strikes. Addressing the situation, President Donald Trump stated that military operations against Iran are expected to last between four to five weeks, though he emphasized he is prepared to go much longer if necessary. Supporting this stance, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth remarked that while Washington did not start the conflict, they intend to “finish it.” Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco has temporarily halted operations at its Ras Tanura refinery after the facility was damaged by falling debris from intercepted Iranian drones.
