DOHA: Qatar Airways has announced the operation of a limited number of flights to assist passengers stranded by current regional conditions and to facilitate their safe return home.
This move follows the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority’s (QCAA) decision to open designated emergency air corridors. On Monday, March 9, flights will depart Doha for destinations including London, Delhi, and Islamabad. On March 10, the airline will operate flights to Kochi, Mumbai, Delhi, and several other international hubs. Return flights to Doha from these locations are scheduled for March 10 and 11.
The airline emphasized that these special flights do not signal a full resumption of regular operations. Passengers are strictly advised not to travel to the airport without a confirmed ticket. Standard operations remain suspended until the QCAA officially announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace. ( With input from QNA)
