Highlighting the need for stability, Macron stressed the importance of ending “unacceptable” strikes against neighboring countries and ensuring the safety of energy and civilian infrastructure.

He further emphasized the restoration of freedom of navigation in the strategic Strait of Hormuz. During the call, Macron called for good-faith talks to address international concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear and ballistic programs, as well as its activities in the region.
