Prominent Malayalam film and theatre actor-director E.A. Rajendran (71) passed away at his residence in Pattathanam, Kollam. He had been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments for some time. A graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD), Rajendran left a significant mark on both the silver screen and the stage through his versatile performances and directorial ventures.
He was the brother-in-law of noted actor and MLA Mukesh; his wife is Sandhya Rajendran. Originally hailing from Thrithallur in Thrissur district, his mortal remains will be taken to his hometown after public viewing in Kollam. The funeral rites are scheduled to take place tomorrow at his family residence in Thrithallur. (Kerala News)
