Adding to the domestic friction within the region, a violent shooting incident occurred on Tuesday in Paveh county, located in western Iran’s Kermanshah province. The provincial public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that two IRGC members were killed and two others sustained serious injuries during the attack. Meanwhile, global oil prices experienced an upward trend on Monday despite a broader rally in international stock markets, directly reflecting ongoing investor caution regarding the unstable US-Iran diplomatic landscape and the persistent threat to international energy supply chains passing through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
