IRAN: The United States has issued a stern warning that sanctions will be imposed on any country engaging in transactions with Iran. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent issued the strict warning to nations during a press conference.
The US has named the sanctions measures ‘Operation Economic Outcast’. Scott Bessent also clarified that US President Donald Trump will personally call world leaders to demand that they refrain from doing business with Iran.
Stating that no one is above the United States, Scott Bessent warned that engaging in transactions with Iran would carry a heavy price. The US move aims to pressure Iran into cooperating with peace talks.
