KOCHI: Actress Mamitha Baiju is currently recovering at a hospital following high fever and body pain. Amid her health updates, an old interview of the actress expressing her deep desire to act alongside Tamil superstar Vijay has resurfaced and gone viral on social media.
In the earlier interview, Mamitha revealed that when she was cast alongside actor Suriya, she initially feared it might jeopardize her chances of acting in a Vijay film. “I always wished to feature in a Vijay sir movie. She added that she grew up watching his blockbusters, with ‘Ghilli’ making her a massive fan of the actor. However, her dream eventually materialized as she shared screen space with Vijay in his final film Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth.
