KOCHI: The second video song from the upcoming Malayalam movie Ottam Thullal, directed by G. Marthandan, has been officially released. Actress Manju Warrier launched the track titled “Theeye Thalaiviye…” across her official social media platforms.
Composed by Rahul Raj with lyrics penned by Dhanya Suresh Menon, the song is sung by Krishna Bhadra Suresh and Bhama Yami Gauri. Set against the vibrant backdrop of a traditional temple festival, this track serves as the opening title song of the film, designed to appeal to audiences across all walks of life.
Presented by Aadhya Productions and produced by Mohan Nellikattu under the banner of JKS Productions, the film explores a lighthearted narrative where an issue within a single rural household escalates into a village-wide affair. Cyriac Alanchery serves as co-producer, while Hiran Mahajan and G. Marthandan are executive producers.
Ottam Thullal stars veteran actor Vijayaraghavan in the central role, supported by Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Bibin George, Tini Tom, Harisree Ashokan, Manoj K.U., Jeo Baby, Siddharth Siva, Pauly Valsan, and Sethu Lakshmi. The screenplay is written by Binu Shivaram, with cinematography by Pradeep Nair and editing by Johnkutty. The movie is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on September 18.
