Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan stated that there is no change in his stance regarding the anti-women remarks made by Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliyar. He clarified his position while addressing the media. He dismissed the campaigns claiming he had deleted his response, explaining that the video was removed from Facebook only because it was a cross-shared post. He further clarified that his meeting with the Kanthapuram AP faction leaders was not a pacification effort, but a pre-scheduled meeting fixed three months ago. The Chief Minister also responded that he has no objections to the criticism or the language used in the Samastha mouthpiece, ‘Suprabhaatham’. Let the public evaluate everything, he said, adding that he is sitting in this position precisely because there is a society here that evaluates everything.
CM V.D. Satheesan made it clear that strong action will be taken regarding the Chirayinkeezhu scuffle. There will be no compromise on this matter, and the KPCC President will explain it further, he added.
