Houthi Projectile Injures Two, Damages Mosque and Buildings in Saudi Arabia’s Jazan.

Riyadh: Two people were injured and multiple structures, including a mosque and several vehicles, suffered damage after a projectile launched by Yemen’s Houthis struck the southern region of Jazan in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, according to the Saudi Civil Defense.

The projectile landed in the Al-Tuwal governorate of the Jazan region, prompting an immediate response from Civil Defense teams. A spokesperson for the department condemned the targeting of civilian infrastructure, calling it a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, and confirmed that standard response procedures were executed.

The latest attack comes amidst heightened security alerts in the Kingdom following a wave of missile and drone strikes directed by the Houthi movement toward southern Saudi Arabia over recent days.
